Well I’ve finally managed to pull my finger out and setup the new blog for London. It’s pretty much the same thing as before – so come and find us on the other side.

Hey all, just a little update for you all out there. We’ve just had a phone line put in this week and I have been told that we will have broadband within the next 4 weeks. So blog updates will continue to be few and far between until then. I’m busy working 5 days a week and then diying 7 days a week to try and get the house back to a good estate. Still need to paint the 2 bedrooms, the landing & the living room and the hallway. Also recarpet the 2 bedrooms and we might just be there. The garden needs some work on it but it’s not 1st priority.
This weekend we’ll be busy continuying with the good old DIY. Anyhow I hope you are all well and I hope to see those selected few in Spain at the end of the month! Make sure that the TV is cold.
Saludos,
Mike
Hi all. Sorry for the lack of updates, but unfortunately we’ve been busy trying to settle down. We are currently living with my brother at the moment as our house is in no estate to move in. Good news is that we’re gonna have some work done in the next 2 weeks and we should be back in there by the end of this month. As soon as we’re in we will get connected and we will be back online. Anyway, back to work.

The time has arrived. Solids are on the menu and as you can see they seem to have gone down well! At first there were screams for food (not captured on camera) and then the spoon went in. The face changed from rage to “hmm what is this?” and then it was smiles all round.
Hope you enjoy the photos : )

Hey everyone,
Sorry we haven’t updated the blog for a few days by now, but we’ve been a little rushed off our feet just trying to sort out some loose ends before we leave Spain. So let me try and give a little update. We have now finally sold our car off now, and we are in the process of sorting out a removals company to take our stuff back home.
Next week I’m off to the UK for 2 days for my 4th interview (3 on the telephone so far) – hoping to get this job as it’s my 1st choice and it’s quite international.
On saturday (23rd) we have a wedding blessing to attend followed by church the next day and then a pleasant drive up to Madrid (6 hours) through the night to catch a flight on Monday 5am to Italy. Arrive in Rome, spending the day in Rome, then a drive down to the Amalfi coast and Pompei and then hoping to arrive at our final destination Trechinna by Wednesday. Spend 3 days there before driving back to Rome on Saturday morning to catch our flight early afternoon back to Madrid. Another 6 hour drive down to Fuengirola and then the day after to church for our last sunday here followed by church picnic.
We will begin our long drive back to the UK either on the 2nd or the 3rd July and envisage arriving by the end of that week. So all in all things are not as hectic as they could be. 🙂
Tomorrow is Tomás’ 6 month birthday and solids are now on the menu. Watch this space for happy/messy photos.
Hope you are all well. See you all soon.
A little something from Toledo brought to you by Tomás
Well we’re just on our way to Toledo this week for a little break into the unknown, however let me leave you with this little gem of Tomás having a little bit of a laugh this week.
Mike
Just got back from the garage and the car is looking swell. All that is left to do is just give it a wash and then give the lady the opportunity for a test drive on Sunday. Hopefully she will be happy with it and we can tick that one off the list of things to do also.
Another video for you all to enjoy taken on the 18th April. Tomás and I(Mike) having a little chat while mummy is holding him. Enjoy.
