As you may or may not know I was a victim of the norovirus last week and I can safely say I do not remember being so ill before! It was the worst thing I have come across for a while but I shall spare you the details and say I’m much better now :).
However because of this we haven’t been up to much. We did visit another church last Sunday as Mike was asked to lead worship. It was a baptist church in Angel and made a nice change. Tomás was abit unstoppable at times wanting to be everywhere but he enjoyed himself! He really likes going out and about exploring.
Well I am pleased to say with no natural daylight and being in the basement room we slept in till 0830 this morning and Tomás did not miss us one bit! The smell of paint however was a little overwhelming so I think we shall need to leave the door open so we don’t both wake up with splitting headaches.
Today we enjoyed a visit to our friends church in Tooting. It’s part of a network of churches (www.shofarworld.com) which originated in South Africa. We very much enjoyed it and liked the enthusiasm the people had for the UK. It was very refreshing and a blessing and the preach was excellent 🙂
These piccis are for our Brazilian family and friends. Although It’s grey and cold, it’s summer indoors! We thought we should at least encourage him to wear his little havaianas 🙂
Well the New Year is finally upon us and some of us had to return to work yesterday. I have to admit that it’s been a nice break with xmas in Solihull & a very quiet New Year here in London. Not to forget a little bit of DIY also – not too much though. So what have we been up to I hear you say? Well, in November we had the privilege of going to see Delirious at a small intimate gig in Mayfair.
Tomás as always is growing up to be a right little star with lots of energy all the time & now walking around everywhere. He continues to be a very happy baby as you can see below:
And then as you know Christmas we spent in Solihull and New Year together with Andi & Cheryl (fancy dress-check out the photos).
Well we hope to keep you all posted with news of what’s in store for us in 2008. See you soon.
