Today is the 1st of Dec which marks the 1st day of Advent. We were very blessed to be given an Advent candle from our dear friends Dave & Sarah and we lit it today as reminder of what Christmas is about as we celebrate the birth of Christ.

Our new bed has finally arrived!
After weeks of waiting our new bed has finally arrived from Dreams. Liz sent me a couple of pics to me this morning which I thought I would share with you.
Once I get in from work, then I will put it together and have an amazing night’s sleep!

Server change a success!
After months of silence I am proud to say that the blog now has a new home & it should have lots and lots of updates. 🙂 It will no longer be powered by Blogger but by WordPress, so that should make it a lot more stable. You may notice that some of the spacing on the previous posts is a little “iffy” as they were imported from blogger – from now on they should be ok. So watch this space.
Daniel recovering well after the op.
Not many of you may know but on the 20th Nov Daniel had an operation to sort out a small blockage between his kidney and bladder. You’ll be glad to know that all is well and this is a little video showing you what he was like just 5 days after the op. You will also notice that he’s now got a scar on his left hand side.

He has a name!
Just to let you all know that the baby now has a name – Daniel John Cartwright. I am in the process of uploading some more videos to give you all a better idea of how lovely little Daniel really is. Be blessed, Mike & Liz

Born on the 3rd June 09 @ 7.15pm. Weight: 3.26kg. Mum & baby are doing well. Just 2 photos at the moment but watch this space for more.

What have we been up to? Massive update to make up for silence.
Well what can I say I’ve been a bad blogger and left you guys in the dark, well anyway here’s the update. Last weekend was easter holiday weekend and we spent Easter Monday in London…..
From friday to Sunday we were in Solihull with Liz’s parents.

Well I must admit I don’t get as much time as I want to to transfer the pics from the camera onto the laptop, so my alternative was to take some pics on my phone and upload them and this is what we got.
